-it has a beautiful gothic hall in the" Torre Grande". Its original ceiling, dating back to the year 1230, is cross-ribbed.
-in spring and summer the wedding lunch or dinner can be served outside on the paved square in front of the "Torre Piccola", allowing a gorgeous view stretching for 7 miles all the way to the art city of Perugia.
-15 meters from the Castle there is a small chapel called San Paolo built by the benedectine monks in the year 1100. The chapel contains very delicate frescos painted by Meo di Siena from 1315 to 1319. They have recently been restored and they represent a Christ on the Cross, a Madonna with Child and and seven Saints, all in life-size proportions.
